Chris A. Johnson
Chris A. Johnson
Attorney
Biography
Chris was raised in Montana and understands the business, commercial, and real estate issues that Montana small businesses and individuals face, in both urban and rural environments. Chris practiced real estate and business law in Washington after attending law school at Gonzaga, and broadened his knowledge of transactional legal work by practicing in areas of development, business asset management and financing, assisting real estate professionals, and managing real estate closing offices. This knowledge and understanding of the workings of real estate, title, and lending practices continues to assist him in his practice in Montana.
In his transition from his Washington practice to Montana, Chris spent a couple years assisting Montana Legal Services in the implementation of a videoconferencing program, and using that system to represent low income clients in Eastern Montana. Following that, he resumed private practice, focusing on all aspects of real estate law – transactions, development, financing, access and boundary issues, and more. He is also well versed in areas of business and commercial law.
When not looking after the business and real estate interests of his clients, Chris spends time skiing, fishing, and golfing, and generally enjoying what Montana has to offer.
